第二十一屆「ETA 英語文教學國際研討會暨書展」即將於11/9~11/11展開囉!

大家還記得甚麼是 ETA 嗎? 其實 ETA 是中華民國英語文教師學會的簡稱 (English Teacher Association), 每年於11月份舉辦的研討會目的在於提供世界各地的英語老師一個舞台, 將其教學經驗及研究心得與大家分享。每年為期三天的活動, 除了邀請國際知名學者專家發表專題演講外, 並有學術論文發表、教學觀摩、工作坊、課程設計、師資培訓、行動研究 (Action Research) 及教材研發等議題。

華泰文化和劍橋大學出版社也十分榮幸參與盛會, 展示一系列劍橋大學出版社的優質英語教材, 並特別邀請專業講師, 與大家一同交流英語教學的經驗與技巧。

提升補教老師職場競爭力：如何準備TKT劍橋英語教師認證考試

Advancing Teaching by Taking Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT)

日期: 11/9 Fri. 時間: 11:10-12:10 地點: 325教室

Teaching is a demanding yet very rewarding profession that one can easily develop as a lifelong career. How do we, as teachers, grow our confidence in teaching and gain the knowledge and skills that will help us develop our career and gain formal recognition for our experience? Taking Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT) will surely be the stepping stone towards other internationally recognized qualifications.

This workshop will explore the reasons and the benefits of taking TKT including preparation tips to get the best result of TKT.

【講者簡介】

Sarah Yin has been teaching English to children and adults since 1989. She has more than 15 years experience in conducting teacher training workshops and doing presentations for international publishing companies and local language schools. She is currently working at Hwa-Kang Xing-Ye Foundation (a.k.a. International Language Institute at School of Continuing Education, Chinese Culture Unviersity) and De Lin Institute of Technology.

當老師的我們, 總是希望透過考試瞭解學生的學習狀態, 但如果連當老師的我們對於考試都有莫名的恐懼, 又怎能說服孩子們充滿自信、愉快地來準備考試呢?

教學經驗超過20年的 Vanessa, 將於講座中和大家分享如何用正面積極的態度帶領孩童通過 YLE 考試, 讓學生與老師在過程中都能受益無窮唷!

【講者簡介】

Vanessa Liu is now working as an English teacher. She has more than 20 years ESL teaching experience, especially on Cambridge pretest classes of Starters, Movers, Flyers, KET, and PET. She also gives new teachers training courses and helps them to improve teaching skills with different teaching methods. She always tries her best to help her students learn English with high motivation and full passion.
